Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 12/17/2020

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Maryland Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Maryland Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Learn About Us

Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center, a primary provider for medication-assisted treatment for those who are struggling with an opioid addiction, supplies individuals who are ages 18 and older with programming options designed to bring about lasting recovery. At Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center, we offer complete care that includes a blend of therapeutic interventions and safe medications.

With a staff of trained and professional counselors, physicians, and nurses, Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center has been able to create a peaceful and inviting environment for patients who wish to begin their journey towards recovery. When individuals battle with an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or morphine, our kind and sympathetic team works alongside them to ensure that they are receiving the proper medications and that they are taking them as prescribed in order to obtain the best possible care. The types of medications that we offer at Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center include:

  • Methadone
  • Subutex
  • Suboxone

Each patient will receive a recommendation for which medication they should be taking, as well as how much they should consume at a time. This will be dependent on his or her physical health and overall wellbeing. In addition, it is possible for patients to make adjustments to their dosages based on their needs throughout treatment. A trained physician will conduct any activity regarding the administering of prescriptions or the changing of dosages.

Our Treatment Therapies

In order to be able to provide the most well-rounded course of care for our patients and their opioid addictions at Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center, we ensure that therapeutic interventions are included in each treatment plan. We believe that it is critical for patients to uncover and understand why they abuse opioids and to find a healthy outlet for all of the feelings they experience surrounding their recovery. In addition, we believe that patients have more success in treatment and overall recovery when they participate in therapy that allows them to obtain support from others who have walked a mile in their shoes. At Cumberland Comprehensive Treatment Center, we are proud to provide the following therapeutic options:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
